At Discovery Village children get to see different kinds of desert plants. We have an amazing collection of the cactus variety and they get to touch and feel the different textures that exist in these types of plants. They also understand the reason and the use of thorns on these cactus plants. The reason being the fact that cactus is found in desert region wherein water isn't available. The thorns prevent the animals from consuming the water already present in the cactus, which enables it to sustain even in harsh climatic conditions.
