| At Discovery Village, Corporate's get an opportunity to test their physical stamina. They also get a glimpse of their friends and colleagues strength and weaknesses. There are times when we often feel lazy, avoid difficult situation and tend to have a "I cant do it" attitude by taking part as one of the team building activity the participants can get a positive attitude and would never say "I can't do" or "It's very difficult" or "Its impossible ".
The desired attitudes like:

- Speaks positive
- Have positive actions( Body language )
- A positive Character
- A positive Personality will and can be re-in forced through the obstacle course and the result is a "Winner" Physically, Emotionally and Psychologically.
The Obstacle course is also designed to develop & build the following characteristics:
- Overcoming the challenges offered by the obstacle course assists in developing ones attitude to overcome difficult situations in life. There are regular challenges, problems & difficult situations in life and having a positive attitude like "I can handle more then what I think I can"; one can overcome all kinds of situations. One can get satisfaction if one tries and does the best. By developing the knack of achieving the task assigned by the obstacle course, one can always be satisfied with the fact that they have tried to do their best, and it makes no difference whether they succeed or not in their attempts. This again enhances their self -esteem there by able to work towards self-improvement.
- Courage and Strength - Whatever obstacle we face in life, whether it seems impossible or very difficult, one has to be courageous and use the God given strength to achieve the goal without giving up. This helps in developing "Perseverance".
- Endurance - When one faces challenges in life, they should never accept failure till their goals are achieved. Doing it again and again helps in building the positive spirit of endurance which again helps in achieving their goal. That's why it is said "The man who says tomorrow his house is destroyed".
- Building Skills- The obstacle course helps in developing different skills to accomplish the assigned task or project.
Finally, one understands the importance of health and strength required to tackle various challenges in life (nutritious balanced diet, daily physical exercise such as running, walking, cycling, and aerobic exercises)
The obstacles offered at Prayag Discovery Village are:
- Steeping Stones
Ability to balance as one jumps from stone to stone and making the right judgments towards reaching the goal.
- Zigzag and the step up Balance
Ability to balance ones body weight as one moves forward on the narrow path there by helping to focus and better their concentrating abilities. For e.g. Balancing and walking on a thin log.
- Tarzan Jump
Courage to stretch oneself and hold the rope and swing, judgment to land at the right place. While executing the jump participants get an opportunity to 'Let go - trust and make the leap'.
- Wall - In life whenever a challenge is faced, one doesn't know the consequences of taking a decision and weather they have the strength to overcome and come out of the situation, here the Wall signifies the challenge and the participants get an opportunity to take it on and climb over it. This helps one in developing the ability of risk taking and getting out of tough situations when faced irrespective of the outcome.
- Monkey Crawl
Ability to hang on and move forward is the test of strength. When the participants encounter this they get an opportunity to get over their fears of letting go of their past experiences and moving forward.
- Inverted V ladder
Bars are placed at a longer distance which helps the participants to stretch and balance. This makes them to get an overview of their physical strength and stamina.
- Parallel Wire
One wire is over head and the other wire is placed below. The participants have to climb and get up and stand on the wire which is below and hold on to the one overhead with their hands and propel forward with correct footing and balancing of their weight. If they do not do so properly then they will loose their balance and fall off the wire and they have to start all over again. This makes them to make sure that they make minimal mistakes as they work towards their goal.
- Tyre
The Tyre is suspended from the pole and here the participant has to decide whether they go head first or leg first using the skills to go through it - the quickest way is tested.
- Chain Ladder
The Ladder is not fixed to the ground its just suspending one has to balance and propel upward and has to cross over this helps to over come the fear of height and gains courage.
- Spiders Web
The web is made out of rope and the participants have to go through the space available and reach the end here the ability to squeeze oneself and go through the obstacle is enhanced.
